SkyReplay turns a GPS track into a three-dimensional replay of a flight, and exports it as video. It is free. There is no trial, and nothing is charged for.
Do not use SkyReplay to make decisions in the air, and do not use it as a safety service. It replays flights that have already happened, from data your instrument recorded, over an elevation model that is approximate. Heights, distances and heights above ground are estimates and are sometimes wrong by a hundred metres or more.
If live tracking is switched on, it shows where a pilot's instrument last reported being. A pilot who has stopped moving on the map may have landed, run out of battery, or lost signal. SkyReplay is not a rescue service and must never be relied on as one. If you are worried about someone, call the emergency services.
You keep every right in the tracks you upload and the videos you export. We claim nothing. Storing a flight with us is permission to hold it and show it to you, and to the pilots you have approved — nothing more.
Imagery, elevation and place names come from third parties under their own licences, credited in the app. Some of them permit non-commercial use only. Videos you export are yours to post and share; if you plan to sell them or use them in an advertisement, check the licence of the map you used first.
This is a free service run by one person in their own time. It may be slow, it may be down, and features may change or disappear. Keep your original IGC files — they are the record, and SkyReplay is a way of looking at them.
You can close your account at any time and everything we hold goes with it. We may suspend an account that is being used to harass someone or to attack the service.
SkyReplay is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it — including any decision made in the air.
